Brief bio/interests: Born in Jamaica. Married 38 years to Alphonse Leslie Lawrence (deceased). Mother of 4 children. Enjoys Christian education administration, 17th and 20th century literature, walking, reading, friends, traveling. Previously served at The Stony Brook School (Stony Brook, NY) and The Covenant School (Charlottesville, VA). “I am especially grateful for the godly influence of my parents, George and Gladys Alexander. I also treasure the memory and influence of Dorothy Parsons (deceased), headmistress of my girls’ boarding school, Westwood High School in Jamaica. I love my church.” Taught English, Spanish, Latin, history and math. Member: Phi Delta Kappa.
