HOMEWORK
Homework that is listed under the teacher’s page is provided as a GENERAL plan and guide for the student’s upcoming assignments. It is important to keep in mind that the rhythms and dynamics of each classroom and events throughout the school day may dictate that assignments may change throughout the week, as needed. It is the primary responsibility of the student, first of all, to be in class and to take careful note of all assignments the teacher gives. While we always endeavor to maintain current and correct information, assignment changes made after initial posting may not appear. For more details on homework policy, please see page 30 of the Parent-Student Handbook.
You may access homework by:
1) clicking on the “Academics” tab, then on “Faculty,” then on the specific teacher, then on the word “Homework” next to the teacher’s photo.
OR
2) using the SEARCH function at the top right corner of any page on the website, type in the name of the teacher. This will bring up a listing of all items where the teacher’s name appears. You may then click directly on “Homework” for that specific teacher. (This process also applies for accessing the weekly teacher letters for K-6th grades.)
While no homework is assigned at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter, students in Advanced Placement courses may be expected to do work during those times.
