GOALS
The
4th-12th grade athletic program recognizes the Word of God as its
foundation. Under the direction of the Athletic Director, each sport
has been designed to build the character of Christ within each participating
student. Every athlete and cheerleader is taught that he or she is
a representative of Christ, his or her family, and the school. The
Athletic Program serves to develop strong character within each student
through emphasis on:

Leadership
through servanthood
-
Physical
discipline
-
Loyalty,
perseverance and humility
-
Commitment
-
An
active relationship with Christ
-
Knowledge
of God's Word
-
Biblical
principles about goal setting, vision, and the power of the tongue
INTERSCHOLASTIC
SPORTS
CCA
Middle and High School Crusader athletes compete in the Independent
Athletic Conference (IAC) for men's and ladies' soccer and basketball,
and also in the Niagara Frontier Christian Athletic Association for cross country and ladies basketball.
We have recently added boys' baseball beginning for the present at fifth grade through high school JV, with the intent for continual growth. Outstanding athletes are recognized at the close of each season at a
special sports banquet. Graduates have gone on to successful college
sports careers, some with scholarships.
INTRAMURAL SPORTS
As
interest and opportunity allow, we have offered energetic third - sixth graders "early bird" soccer and basketball before school on select
days. Older students enjoying leisurely competition may participate
in intramural sports offered as interest level allows fielding of teams.
