CCA Students Present at EETT Learning Showcase
Senior Andrew Robinson and freshman Rose Albert impressed the almost 100 public and private school teachers, administrators, district superintendents and students gathered December 3 at the Erie I BOCES center in West Seneca for an all-day symposium culminating the 2-year “Enhancing Education Through Technology” grant. Under the direction of CCA computer teacher, Mrs. Gail Conschafter and assisted by CCA faculty technology grant team members, Mrs. Katrina Szucs and Mrs. Lisa Wright, Andy and Rose (pictured here) presented their innovative project: an interactive poster focusing on examples of CCA teachers’ current use of Web 2.0 tools and the possibilities for future expanded use of such tools in the learning environment. Of the 7 student teams presenting, CCA was the only private school represented. Great job, Andy and Rose!
