The CCA student family enjoys a variety of activities outside of class. Middle and High schoolers launch the year with a special retreat at Camp Li-Lo-Li in Western New York's Southern Tier. Annual Homecoming festivities take place the last Saturday of every September. Interscholastic and intramural sports, opportunities for Christian Service to the Community, class fundraisers, dinners and parties, are some of the activities that create lasting friendships.

Council of Prefects - Each year six seniors who have distinguished themselves among the faculty are chosen to serve as the Council of Prefects - students who serve as leaders in the entire student body in the areas of spiritual life, sports, student activities, admissions and academics. One student serves as the Head Prefect. Criteria for selection include:

  • Demonstrated potential to lead
  • Participation in Christian Service
  • Exhibiting Christian character
  • Evidencing a concern for younger students

Class Leaders - Beginning in the seventh grade, each class elects a president, secretary and spiritual advisor. Class officers meet regularly with the Head of School and their assigned prefect for leadership training and planning class activities.

Activities - Some student activities are curriculum-driven. Some develop and persist as interest and leadership are evident. Examples of student's activities include:

Audio-Visual Club National Honor Society
Bible Club Orchestra
Board Games Praise Ensemble
Crusader (student newspaper) Ski Club
Decorative Arts Walking Club
Gospel Drama Yearbook, "Triumph"
