Student Leadership and Class Activities
Council of Prefects
Each year six seniors who have distinguished themselves among the faculty and their peers are chosen to serve as the Council of Prefects, with additional seniors selected to serve alongside them as Student Mentors. These students serve as leaders in the entire student body in the areas of spiritual life, sports, student activities, admission and academics. One student serves as Head Prefect.
Criteria for selection include:
- Demonstrated potential to lead
- Participation in Christian service
- Exhibiting Christian character
- Evidencing a concern for younger students
Class Officers and Activities: Beginning in the sixth grade, each class elects a president, secretary, and spiritual advisor. Class officers meet regularly with the Head of school and their assigned prefect for leadership training and planning class activities.
