At CCA, we believe the elementary years are some of the most important in a child’s academic and personal development. Our classrooms are designed to nurture curiosity, build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and foster a genuine love for learning within a Christ-centered environment.
On the Winter 2025–2026 NWEA assessments, CCA elementary students (K–5) performed significantly above national averages across core academic subjects:
- Reading / ELA: 82nd percentile nationally
- Math: 74th percentile nationally
- Science: 81st percentile nationally
These results reflect a strong academic foundation that begins in the earliest grades and continues to grow each year.

Why We Keep 5th Grade in Elementary
We intentionally keep 5th grade within our elementary program because we believe students thrive when they are both academically challenged and developmentally supported during these formative years.
While many schools transition students into middle school earlier, our 5th grade students continue learning in a nurturing elementary environment that allows them to build confidence, strengthen leadership skills, and mature academically before entering middle school.
