Students wishing to purchase a lunch will place their orders with the classroom teacher/advisor at the beginning of the day. Lunches may be paid for with cash, or parents may add funds to a lunch account through https://payschools.com/ Each student has his/her own barcode to purchase breakfast, lunch & snacks. Their balance is automatically updated through the https://payschools.com/ service. Parents can see what their children are buying and monitor the account.

CCA participates in the federally-funded free and reduced-price school lunch program for eligible families. Please access the Free/Reduced lunch program application here and submit to the CCA Business Office. The school’s policy regarding meal charges and the prohibition of meal shaming can be found here.

Parent volunteers serve an extremely important role as CAFETERIA MONITORS through the first two lunch periods (Grades K-2 and 3-5). Parents interested in helping should contact Mrs. Jill Carney through the school, who serves as coordinator of our cafeteria monitors.

CCA schedules four lunch periods each day: Grades K-2, grades 3-5, grades 6-8, and grades 9-12. (See “Cafeteria Policy” in the Parent-Student Handbook for lunch times.) For those who wish to purchase a meal, CCA endeavors to provide a healthy lunch at a reasonable cost. The cafeteria daily offers an alternate Salad Bar for students in grades 6-12 and alternate entrees for grades K-5 which include:

  • peanut butter and jelly
  • grilled cheese
  • chicken nuggets
  • tuna sandwich
  • turkey (deli) sandwich
  • Milk (2%, skim, chocolate) is included as part of the total lunch.
