Students wishing to purchase a lunch will place their orders with the classroom teacher/advisor at the beginning of the day. Parents may add funds to a family lunch account through https://factsmgt.com/ Each student has his/her own barcode on their student ID card to purchase breakfast, lunch & snacks. Their balance is automatically updated through the FACTS service. Parents can see what their children are buying and monitor the account.
CCA participates in the federally-funded free and reduced-price school lunch program for eligible families. Parent volunteers serve an extremely important role as CAFETERIA MONITORS through the first two lunch periods (Grades K-2 and 3-5). Parents interested in helping please contact CCA’s Volunteer Coordinator, Christina LoCicero: volunteer@christianca.com .
CCA schedules three lunch periods each day: Grades PreK-2, grades 3-5, and grades 6-12. (See “Cafeteria Policy” in the Parent-Student Handbook for lunch times.) For those who wish to purchase a meal, CCA endeavors to provide a healthy lunch at a reasonable cost. The cafeteria daily offers alternate entrees which include:
- salads (grades 6-12)
- peanut butter and jelly
- grilled cheese
- chicken nuggets
- tuna sandwich
- turkey (deli) sandwich
- Milk (1% or chocolate) is included as part of the total lunch.
