As we begin a new day, let us “call [this] to mind and have hope: because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” (Lam 3:21-23)
Good morning, Father. Thank you that you are with us each moment of today. May we meet you in the interruptions; may we we trust you with the surprises; may we rest in you when we are weary; may we speak to those around us with words you would choose; may we trust you to give us what we lack. Great is your faithfulness, O Lord.
