Media Tech is an elective course for Grade 9-12 students who are interested in a hands-on experience in the field of media and technology (the message and the means to message to someone).
• Students become proficient in all aspects of the technology in our Nurline A. Lawrence Auditorium, in the sound booth, on stage and backstage, as they assist with overseeing the sound and visual aspects of the following CCA activities:
o Middle School/High School Chapel
o Weekly Elementary Chapel
o Special Events (e.g., Talent Show, School Play, Kick-offs)
• Students learn about the technology used in the CCA classrooms and assist teachers when needed.
• Students develop specific media presentations for use during chapels and special events.
