Each year at Christian Central Academy, the Senior Class culminates their high school experience by going on a short-term overseas mission trip. CCA partners with SCORE International for this mission trip. It is an amazing week for the Seniors to develop stronger friendships with each other and grow even more in their Christian faith. The goal of the mission trip is to engage and equip the Seniors to fulfill the mandate of Jesus in Acts 1:8 to “be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

While on the trip, the students experience the mission field first-hand as they work alongside SCORE’s field missionaries to:

    • Evangelize the lost via:
      • Musical presentations
      • Skits and dramas
      • Street evangelism / tract distribution
      • Feed and clothe the needy via:
        • Food and health care distribution
        • Shoe and clothing distribution
        • Visit the orphans via:
        • Orphanage work

Other ministry projects the Seniors have done on their mission trip with SCORE have included:

        • Painting projects
        • Construction work
        • Adoption of a child at “Cas De Louis”
        • Financial support for a SCORE missionary

The Senior Mission Trip is CCA’s final step in pointing its students to a life-long devotion to God and fulfilling the Great Commission. In some cases, this short-term trip has inspired Seniors to become full-time missionaries.
